ECM is part of an area-wide coalition that is building food gardens on church lands throughout Southern California.
Coordinated by the Seeds of Hope program of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, the project is working with 15 initial church sites. These 15 church sites are in parts of the greater L.A. area which have been hard-hit by economic down times.
Eventually, Seeds of Hope plans to expand to 60+ properties throughout Southern California.
ECM is currently developing a garden education program to support the Seeds of Hope gardens. Classes will be open to the general public, and as they are scheduled they will be posted on the ECM calendar.
So if you are located in parts of SoCalif which aren’t near Westchester … we’re bringing it to you!
