note: The Transition Network recommends that "two individuals from each community attends - that way the knowledge is shared and there isn't just one person with "the knowledge". Not that we think there are any megalomaniacs out there, but, y'know, just in case..."  ... So who do you know who should be attending with you???
 

Tuition:

  • Full tuition will be $200 (set by the Transition Network). 
    Tuition must be paid in full by Dec. 10.
  • Your deposit check for $50 will hold your space until Dec. 10. 
    Spaces not paid in full on Dec. 11 will be given to people on the Waiting List.
  • All checks should be made out to “Holy Nativity Church” with “Environmental Change-Makers” written in the memo field.
  • Sorry, we are not set up to accept credit cards.

We have a limited number of scholarship/bursary spaces; please contact us if the tuition is beyond your reach.
 

Lunch:

You have several options for lunch on Weds/Thurs:

  • The site in Los Angeles is several blocks from cafes/markets, but these are accessible by bike or car.
  • You may bring your own meal.  Please make it room temperature as refrigeration is limited, and we don't wish to hassle reheating to make it easy on the volunteers who'll be doing the serving.
  • Alternatively, the Environmental Change-Makers can provide a vegetarian, mostly-local-foods buffet.  Attendees to our "Life After Oil" session in September really enjoyed this.  If you wish us to provide food for you, please indicate this as you register so that we can plan supplies accordingly.  We ask that you donate an additional $10 (covers two meals, Weds/Thurs).  Thanks.
